Brownies in Bedfont celebrated the foundation of a new Rainbows group as they enrolled their new leader recently.

The annual Bedfont Lakes Country Fair returns on Sunday July 20 for its 14th year and promises to be a great family day out.
This year the park will be packed with fun activities and displays including falconry displays, Titan the Robot, Lurcher displays, ferret and terrier racing, Charlie the Clown and a fun fair.
A suspended inquiry into plans to develop the Bedfont Pits site will be reopened for its final day on Friday, August 8.
The four-day inquiry, looking into development firms Chrisfys's plans for the industrial estate and surrounding scrubland began in May but was adjourned after three days.

David King, of the Air Accident Investigation Bureau, has been heading a 150 person investigation into the crash, which saw a Boeing 777 glide to safety over Bedfont homes on January 17.
