It might have been a rotten night for his namesake team as they were dumped out of the FA Cup by Coventry.
But Tuesday night was one to remember for Stuart Blackburn, who netted a debut goal just 24 hours after signing for Bedfont Green.
Thoughtful girls from 2nd Bedfont Rainbows, Brownies and Guides put their heads together at the weekend to celebrate their annual 'Thinking day'.
The youngsters at St. Mary's Church, in Hatton Road, joined Guides all over the world to remember the birthday of the movement's founders, Lord and Lady Baden Powell.
More young people from Feltham have been given the opportunity to train with qualified boxing coaches as part of a course run by the Metropolitan Police.
Eighteen students from Feltham Community College took part in a boxing course held at the college from Tuesday to Thursday.
A devoted Bedfont aunt determined to help save her nephew's fiancée from cancer has inspired her colleagues at Hounslow Council to organise a five-mile fundraising walk.
Friends and relatives of Staines primary school teacher Melissa Huggins have fought desperately to help her raise the £200,000 she needs to battle a rare, life-threatening brain tumour.
Excitement levels reached fever pitch at Feltham train station this weekend as spotters and families jostled together for the best view of two magnificent steam engines.
The beautifully restored locomotives, a Tornado No 60163 and an Orient Express lunch train hauled by a Merchant Navy Class Loco 35028, stunned the large crowds as they whistled through stations up and down the line on Saturday.
The Tornado was lovingly created by enthusiasts over 18 years and is the first mainline steam locomotive to be built in 50 years.
Eddie Menday, of Feltham History Group, said: "The buzz at Feltham station was fantastic. I haven't seen crowds like that for a steam train since Winston Churchill's funeral train came through here."
Booze will be flowing down Feltham's gutters this week as police move to enforce a new ban on street drinking in the town centre.

Bedfont's double-signing last week was not the only recent activity at The Orchard.
Boss Mick Turtle last week swooped for striker Victor Osubu, from AFC Hayes, and centre-back Ray Walsh to bolster his Combined Counties Premier outfit.

In the first incident, an 11-year-old was approached by a white man in Raleigh Road, Feltham, on January 14, at about 4.45pm.
Two days later, a 15-year-old boy was approached by a man matching his description in Princes Road, Feltham, at about 8am.
Officers from Feltham Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) advised parents to 'remain vigilant' and 'reiterate to their children not to speak to strangers'.

Alan Littlewood's 26-year-old daughter Elouise died in February last year, two months after moving into a flat in the new Bedfont Lakes development.
He has spent the last year campaigning alongside Elouise's mum Sally-Anne to ensure more people know about the dangers of faulty boilers.
