Double signing for Bedfont

Bedfont's double-signing last week was not the only recent activity at The Orchard.

Boss Mick Turtle last week swooped for striker Victor Osubu, from AFC Hayes, and centre-back Ray Walsh to bolster his Combined Counties Premier outfit.

Turtle followd that coup by replacing outgoing coach Bobby Watson with Dwayne Ackerman, brought back goalkeeping coach Jeff Banks and signed Carlos Newman from CB Hounslow United.

CB themselves countered the loss of Newman by them-selves landing three players from Combined Counties Division One rivals Westfield. Daniel Hamilton, Ayoola Olatunde and Matthew Olowaseyi have all pitched up at the Osterley-based side.

Also in Division One, Hanworth Villa, who have lost Darren Higgs to promotion rivals Staines Lammas, did not have time to welcome new signing from Guildford City, Wayne Noad, before he packed his bags againa nd signed for Egham.
