Fun day at Frank Towell court is a success

HOU1809 frtow.JPGA fun day at Frank Towell court in Feltham brought smiles to the faces of residents who had never met before.

Tenants brought some good old-fashioned community spirit to the Glebelands Road estate last week, enjoying a bouncy castle, teacups, a raffle, tombola and face painting.

About 50 people who live in the flats attended the first event of its kind and were treated to cuisines from all over the world by their neighbours.

Organiser Rene Wooton said: "We had a wonderful afternoon. I have never seen anything like it. All sorts of people came out of the woodwork for the first time and everybody's been talking about it ever since."

We'd like to hear from you.
